Royal Institute of Management inaugurates Library and IT Centre




Just a day after welcoming of new batch of post graduates diploma students into RIM Family on 2nd February 2013, another big event in calendar history of RIM was the inauguration of Library and IT Center of the Institute. The inauguration was blessed with the presence of Her Royal Highness Ashi Sonam Dechen Wangchuk as the chief guest. In the inauguration, Minister for Education Thakur Singh Powdyel and Minister for Information and Communication Mr Nandala Rai, Foreign Dignitaries and RIM Board of Directors were present.
The inauguration and Rabney was followed by various dance performances by Diploma students of the institute. It was ended with special lunch for the trainees.
The centre is built with financial assistance of Royal Government of India. The centre is has four computers labs, one video conferencing hall and online data bases. It also houses more than 22000 books.
